  1. It seemed like he lived in a temporary space. He had made it look like a real person lived here, put up pieces of art he had found, arranged the furniture as if a guest may arrive one day. But he never felt connected to it. At any moment if all of it were to change, would he feel at home? Did he feel at home now?

As he thought about it, the answer was yes. This eclectic collection of things gathered up along the way was the journey of life, and if it felt temporary it was only because the journey was not over.

    About a space in-between~~~

    Where am I…this space in-between?

The world revolves as usual, but yet it seems so out of sync with itself and with me.

I am torn between hope and despair, between love and hate, not knowing exactly where my emotions belong.

Do I look up or do I look down?

Looking down, I see the ravages of war… the blood, the bodies, the people who have had their lives unraveled, an earth scarred and weeping from the onslaught, and the smell of death lingering in the air.

When I cast my eyes upward, I see angels in flight, golden light beams, the limitless heaven of compassion and love, and my Creator who stands smiling down on me.

I think I will focus my eyes in that direction, where hope lingers… a home where I may one day live in peace.
