  1. About cocky absolute certainty~~~

I thought I knew it all.
With a college degree under my belt, I trotted out into the wide world.
Boy, was I in for a shock.

I was protected growing up…parents who loved me, food always on the table, and a roof above my head.
All this was accepted as a certainty.

When I ventured out into the world, many things seemed topsy-turvy.
Children wandering the streets homeless, falling prey to being victimized by unsavory creatures.
Individuals not ever have felt the emotion of love- either given or received.

How had I been so cocky to have believed the world was so smooth sailing,
when, in reality, has so many jagged edges that poke the air out of my sails.
