  1. About being fragile and capable~~~

I stared into the lights above me as I lay on the gurney.
    Permanence vs. temporary.
The meaning of life looms there in this antiseptic space.
Which direction will my life choose to head into?
My heart beats in spurts, a moment stretched into hours.

    The crisis has passed.
    I must move forward.
I have a life to live.
But am I capable to do what I must do?

I answer yes, as my heart now beats strong.
The world waits before me and I am anxious to meet it head-on.
I am a force to be reckoned with
and I give thanks to the angels who stand with me.

    About Being Fragile and Competent

    The question is:
Will the fragility that paralyzes us
    Upon the shattering
    Of our most cherished illusions
Be diminished by our capable actions
    Once acceptance of our loss
    Has prevailed?
