    About sharing a joke~~~

“Huh, you all know this was a joke…
What I said while campaigning was all a joke!
Did you really think everything I said was the gospel truth?
If so, sorry, the joke was on you!”

    Life is not a joke,
    It is a profound reality.
We ordinary folks have to deal with the fallout
    of the power mongers,
    those that dictate the course
    our lives take.

Well, there is one thing “they” don’t have power over,
and that is what lies within my heart and soul.

I believe truth and goodness will survive and triumph over lies and deceit.
For, I know there is a power overseeing
    the comings and goings,
who is the source of ultimate truth and goodness.

Michele, as you can tell by the feedback in today’s session, you expressed so much for so many. Thank you for doing it creatively and in such a heartfelt way.

Elizabeth, I was hoping that what I had to say would echo what was in the hearts and minds of others. Thankfully, it did, and at the same time, it helped me to clear my heart and mind of my feelings… of living in this crazy, mixed-up time.
