    About an ever-present scar~~~

    It sliced into me.I uttered cries of sheer pain and fear.What was happening here?Was fantasy replacing reality?

    I could not move,frozen in time,beset by forces that worked against me.

    My mind was confused,rendered uselessto reason the circumstance.

    The world about mebecame dark,pressing in on me from all sides.I felt so helpless and vulnerable.

    I dropped to the floorand touched the scarthat stretched out across me.This is reality.This is the reality of life…battered by the accumulation of its scars,slow to heal the body and the mind.
